Computer Hardware and Software Recommendations

It is highly recommended that you talk with your major specific department for any recommendations or requirements for computer hardware and/or software specific to your major first.

General Hardware Recommendations:

Processor: Intel Core i3 (or compatible) or better

RAM: 8GB or better

Hard Drive: (certain disciplines will require more storage than others, check with your College/Department for more information). Solid State Drives (SSDs) will perform better than traditional, mechanical drives

802.11g/n/ac wireless capability

General Software Recommendations:

Latest Microsoft Windows or Apple operating system, fully updated

Microsoft Office (Students have free access to Office365. See out Microsoft Office webpage)

Web browser(s) compatible with WTClass (See WTClass Technical Requirements)

Active and updated Antivirus client
